The Junior Nifty Neave 4-H Club is a great way to get you child out and about, the activities are varied and the environment is safe. Your child will learn by doing, this is the best way to enhance your social skills. The 4-H club is actually ran by the kids, with adult advisors. The kids make the rules under the watchful eye of the advisors teaching them parliamentary procedure. That is just for starters each student can then select his/her project, then at the end of the year their project will be displayed at the Darke County fair. It is a real treat to see your Child’s eyes light up when they see their project in public view. It is like being on stage showing the world what you can do. It builds self esteem and confidence that is required to succeed in the world today. Currently this club has 12 kids, and there is always room for more.
With many special events and outings, our local 4-H club is just what you need to pull your child away from video games and TV. Instead of living in an artificial virtual world, he will experience what the real world is all about. Open to all children 10 years old and up.
