Three lakes are stocked they are : Iroquois, Winnebago, and Algonquin. (see fishing access points for locations of these lakes) The rest of the lakes are naturally stocked. Algonquin will be stocked with bass later in the season. Below are a list of the Kinds of fish taken from these lakes.

Bull Head
Walleye and Perch have also been taken, but are much harder to find.
Experienced fishermen from our village recommend the following baits and lures.
Jigs are great for catching Bluegill and crappie. Tipped with a minnow crappie can’t resist these lures.
If Bluegill is your choice, Wax Worms seem to work fairly well.
Spinners and crank lures work well with bass, depending on the day one may work better than the other.![]()
According to the seasoned professional Kellys Rubber worms are the best for catching Bass in Wayne lakes.
