When I started this web site I had lofty goals, one of them was to install a local weather station. This device would give you current weather including; temperature, wind speed, wind direction, Barometric pressure, rain fall, and possibly uv level. Also with a sky cam mounted in a high location above the tree line so we who live down in the trees can see what kind of weather is coming. All of this information transmitted live via this website. This information will also be transmitted to the weather underground to add another plot point on their national map. Weather history will also be available including accumulated rain fall, so you can see the weather trends yourself. I was also thinking that we may want to get a uv index add-on with a uv alert that will pop up on the website when the uv rating is moderately high or very high. it will send an e-mail out like my other alert systems.
